The two-storey home was given a contemporary refresh which includes expansion of the foyer, addition of recreational and gym areas, as well as a varied material palette accompanied with luxury furnishings.

Our studio examines and determines the requirements of the owners who desired a quiet yet contemporary environment that suits their lifestyle. With more time spent at home, we help the owners achieve privacy while retaining natural light with an innovative timber façade that offers versatility and control to create the ideal ambiance.

The entrance hallway leading to the social living areas exudes a relaxed atmosphere with the use of textured wooden wall. This is achieved by a combination of solid and void spaces as well as bringing the natural materials into the interior.

We have also remade the entryway to the kitchen which was formerly narrow and poorly lit. If the kitchen is the heart of the house, then the dining room is where all bonds are formed. We envisioned the kitchen to be a harmonious space that is light, bright, and airy.
Therefore, we have increased the size of the entryway and introduced a combination of natural materials and subtle design details that are soothing to the eyes, hands, and the soul. The space is now open and offers a view of the surrounding. A hanging light is added in the dining room to create a soft yet inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Modern and functional kitchen island also becomes a sleek bar that compliments the elegant atmosphere.

Located at the upper level, the gym room boasts a high ceiling and plenty of daylight. Bronze mirror cladding and beautiful metallic pieces on the walls add a touch of luxury.

While the powder room is considered a small and transient space, it shouldn’t be neglected. Timber walls, in-built shelving and a white basin make the space organised and pleasant to the eye.

The indulgent master bedroom is the ultimate private sanctuary – featuring neutrals, plush fabrics, luxurious finishes as well as bedside tables for essentials. There is also an adjoining modern study room which can be closed off. Clean, concealed built-ins and luxurious finishes accentuate the home’s modern-luxe aesthetic without compromising functionality.

A home is more than just a place of shelter; its a reflection of the people who dwell in it. Home evolves over time as the people who reside there focus on what makes them happy.
