Welcome to this charming holiday home modified from a 4-room BTO flat. Decked out in bronze-brown palette, rustic wood accents and a glass-encased gym, the apartment feels just like a laid-back retreat.

The open layout offers an unimpeded view, which makes it feels spacious. Design Zage has chosen a warm colour palette for the home and incorporating timber-look materials to add warmth, depth and texture. The raftered ceiling in the living room further enhances the resort atmosphere and the concrete vinyl flooring adds an artisanal touch while ensuring that it is easy to maintain.

The owners also wanted something unconventional for the dining area, and since this unit sits on the 36th floor, we went with a sky dining concept featuring high dining table and matching chairs by the windows.

The resort style home is evident in every nook and cranny of the apartment. For the bathroom, it clearly has a nature-inspired theme. Our designers proposed to fill the dry floor areas with pebbles to complement the wooden décor and incorporated a stone basin sink.

For the entrance to the master bedroom, instead of the typical single door, Design Zage proposed to use double doors which further enhances the overall atmosphere as a resort-style sanctuary.

We were tasked to transform a 4-room flat into a cosy-meets-chic resort home. It should feel effortless stylish, breezy and laidback. We envision a good mix of wood, concrete and marble for the finishes and material surfaces. Wood brings a sense of warmth and cosiness. The use of marble and concrete add a subtle yet sophisticated edge to the interiors.
